• Wipe the barrette clean with a slightly damp cloth after use and allow to dry completely
• Open and close the clasp a few times periodically to keep the mechanism moving freely
• Do not submerge in water — moisture can affect the clasp mechanism over time
• Apply hairspray and styling products before inserting the barrette — not after
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or sunlight, which can distort the shape or fade the color
• Store flat in a dry place or a soft pouch to protect the finish
