Camila Solingen scissors are made from surgical-grade Solingen stainless steel and will maintain their edge with proper care.

• Wipe blades clean with a dry cloth after each use to remove debris and moisture
• Disinfect with rubbing alcohol and allow to air dry completely before storing
• Apply a small drop of scissor oil or mineral oil to the pivot screw periodically to keep the action smooth
• Store in the protective pouch or case — never leave loose in a drawer where blades can knock against other tools
• Do not soak in water or put through a dishwasher — prolonged moisture can affect the pivot mechanism even on stainless steel
• Have professionally sharpened when cutting performance decreases — do not attempt to sharpen at home
