Which blades does the razor take?

Gillette Mach3 cartridges, sold in most pharmacies and supermarkets and online. Clip a cartridge onto the head the same way you would on a Mach3 handle, so you never have to hunt for specialty blades.

Is the brush real badger hair?

Yes. The knot is silvertip badger, the finest and softest grade. The tips hold water well, so the brush builds a rich, creamy lather quickly and lifts the beard for a closer shave.

Is the ivory handle real ivory?

No. The ivory option is solid ivory-tone resin, hand-polished to a warm, creamy finish. No animal material is used in either color, and every handle's pattern is slightly different.

How do I care for the brush and stand?

Rinse all lather from the brush after each shave, shake it gently and hang it knot-down on the stand to dry. Wipe the chrome stand dry with a soft cloth. Never leave the brush standing in water.

Italian Resin Shaving Set & Mach3-Compatible Razor - Demidoff

Q: What is the difference between the razor and the set?

The razor option is the Mach3-compatible razor on its own. The 3-piece set adds a silvertip badger shaving brush with a matching handle and a chrome stand that holds both, in a black gift box.

Description

The Demidoff is an Italian design offered in ivory-tone or black resin, as a razor alone or as a 3-piece set. The razor has a hand-polished solid resin handle and a head that fits Gillette Mach3 cartridges. The set adds a silvertip badger shaving brush with a matching handle and a chrome stand that hangs the brush to dry, presented in a black gift box. Every piece is handcrafted in Italy.

Care & Cleaning

Rinse each piece after every shave and let it dry fully. The stand is designed to help the brush dry the right way.

Brush: rinse out all lather, squeeze gently, shake, and hang it knot-down on the stand to dry
Never soak the brush or leave it standing in water. Moisture trapped at the base loosens the knot
Razor: rinse the head under warm water, tap off excess water, and dry the handle with a soft towel
Replace the cartridge every 5–10 shaves, or sooner if it starts to tug
Stand: wipe the chrome dry with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners
Keep the set out of the direct spray of the shower
